Studia Chaburensia

Studia Chaburensia. Edited by Hartmut Kühne

The series is dedicated to the territory of Upper Mesopotamia, including its peripheral areas in today's states of Turkey, Syria, Iran and Iraq. It aims to be a forum for regional and supraregional studies dealing with macro and micro history, material culture, the environment, settlement dynamics, rural and urban life, economy, administration and social systems. Through the challenging interrelationships of these topics with each other, she wants to stimulate the study of developments and changes in the longue durée of the civilization of this region. Chronologically, the series is not limited to any epoch of the region's long history, though it pays particular attention to the diverse history and culture of Assyria.
